Dear Sisters,

We were very agreeably surprised to see John Eddie last Sat. It was the only safe way for him to come and be measured. His stay was so very short that we could not ask all the questions we wanted to but made good use of the time he stayed. We were all very much pleased to get the sack of apples and enjoy them greatly. We all, Robbie & the rest of us want to thank so much for them, and hope you did not cut your own supply short by sending them..
