9/5/66 - Mon - Labor Day 235 W. 13 St. NY. NY 10011 Dear Jack -

Just a hasty note to tell you, I find your book enthralling - so alive and well written. It is informative without being pedantic or "soap=boxish". It is crammed full of really interesting treasures.
A lovely day finally in N.Y., after humid-soggy-heat.
Glad to be quietly at home, imagining the highways crowded with motorists trying to catch the last holiday of summer.
I hope all is well with you and Gladys.
Again - I love the book. good luck!

Fondly, Henrietta
