     Thanks a million for your letter (copy of which you sent me).  See Steig sometimes - but since he's artist (graphic - cartoons) havent asked him.  Anyway Anais Nin, Abe Rothberg (pub-writes) Elliott Schryver (now ed'l dir. for McKay), Dr. Sulzer (just retiring - had been head of Indiana U.'s Communications Dept.), and yourself underlined:  all sent letters.  So they  have more than requested.
   Forgive haste - my sister broke hip - had operation - and is in  hospital, where I rush daily.  What a summer!
   We all look forward to seeing you!  You sound fine - and busy.  Love to  you and Gladys - and, again,, dear Jack, thanks (Good luck!)
