To Europe, Africa, Australia, England, the Continent and much here. I'm professor emeritus which means I can teach but have no vote and, praise be, no committees. In my course on the Thirties, underlined: The Disinherited was liked most by the good students (underlined: USA and underlined: Grapes of Wrath and underlined: The People, Yes, were among the competition. We're both very sorry about your daughter, glad you have so much coming out and come out. I'm doing a book on C. P. Snow, going to Texas a week from now to work on it with Lucille (Snow's ms. there.
