    Always so good to hear from you.  See you are back to your expert typing.  Wish I could say same about my handwriting.
    I'm sorry about your foot, Jack.  But, glad you can do something about it.  Know you are pleased with Chicago Tribune review of something had been in St. Louis Post I think some one would have clipped it out & sent it here.  Wish I could go to your autographing party in Oct.  Hope it is underlined: not your last hurrah.
   I just dropped Mr. Whitehead a note telling him I would send him a check for book, plus postage, either before or after he mails it.
