7/30/85 Dear Jack,

    Glad you are recovering from your foot surgery. & I hope, by this date, you are also recovering from your eye operation.  Harold had a cataract removed & the implant last August.  Very successful.
  I left for St. Louis June 20h.  Returned just two weeks ago.  Had my little grandson here for past ten days.  He is three years old & a real live wire.  Kept me busy.
