in pencil in top margin Sullivan, Mary [1983] greeting card How dear to my heart are the scenes of my childhood, When fond recollection presents them to view. SAMUEL WOODWORTH Wishing you a good old-fashioned Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Dearest Jack - Hi! Hope this is not too bad time of year for you & I do hope some one is there with you now.

Wish you could come down. Our weather has been delightful. Don't think weather your way has been much to talk about.
Duke is still working. But end of this month will be end of job. He is quite despondent about it all. Wonders what he will do. His general health is O.K. but somewhat on frail side. Can't do what he used to do. But, that is the same cry from all of us. I think we should be thankful to be alive & well.
Hope you are feeling O.K. Jack - Stay well. Take care. Much love, Mary & Duke
