April 22 '71 Dear Jack -

Always good to hear from you. Wish you would think of us more often. We are very sorry to learn of your hospital stay, however. Why don't you and Gladys come down here & get well?! I will see to it that you do not get any sugar - or booze. The Bushman's call from time to time & they are supposed to be here shortly after Johnny gets finished his school work. About June 18th or so. They are going to Iowa to see Fritz too. Don't know which they will do first. Here or Iowa. But they have said they would for sure be here & we are to have some company sometime in August for several days. Michael will be down in August maybe
So, you & Gladys should be able to get away for a while. We have plenty of room & the weather is great.
