Being in bed I couldn't do much about checking up on underline Slappy /underline

but I did phone the Jefferson library and it's on the shelves there and in their bookstore. The librarian I wanted to talk to, Clara Ostrowsky, was home having herself a baby but I ran across her recommendations in underline New Masses and underline Slappy was included there as well as in the Sunday Worker (no review, just a line about its content each time), but since their recommendations are closely followed here as elsewhere, it should help Xmas sales. I sure hope so. Bunny took the underline Masses & Workers /underline aboard ship with him, so can't clip them yet. I'll stay on the trail, though, and once I'm up, will be able to get more done.
