    It is appropiate [sic] that I am listening to H.M.S. Pinafore as I write you!  It is indeed a long time between mutual quaffing of the wassail bowl!  When?  Have been working hard in my old age, although I was still able to win a tennis cup this past summer against my young bearded and long-haired opponents.  I perhaps will have to grow a beard & let my hair grow long so that I can again appear to be the youth of today as of my bohemian days in Paris in the 20's!  Love, Paul
