Jack oboy, oboy:

Lindenschmidt asks to be remembered to you - except for a few aches and pains he says they are getting along pretty good for old folks. Judy Rayford says he lost my address and had to call you long distance for it - same old Judy, but he says he has inertia and can't do much about it.
Photo enclosed taken by my daughter Robin, at her mountain hide-away in them thar Va. hills. I guess if I could of staid there I would be almost back to normal, for an old guy. that's what good mountain air does to you - just turns you inside out and then boots you where it does the most good. Take ole Judy Rayford to the hills and see what happens?! I'm a great believer in health over 2100 altitude - make it 14,000 alt. and I'll do a cart-wheel for you - ah them fresh mountain airs -- ah them fresh mountain do-do's. I'm drinking Seagram's VO - knew the doctor (what operated on me) said a little alcohol helped lubricate the valves he put in - oh my yes it surely does, and that's a fact. Hope you are fine and dandy. Yrs. on a mountain top.

Jack
