15 March 79 Dear Jack, oh boy:

   I am absorbing some french brandy, called underlined:  Marnier as well as I remember.  It is underlined:  imported stuff, but don't let that fool yah - it is pure apple-jack - I can taste the apples in it.  I am well under control as the controls should go.  Are you under controls, as controls should be?  I am about to espouse my cause to the right effort - come what May,  The cat (Premo) was up on the drawing table a moment ago - he uses it as a sleeping perch and can look out the windows at the birds he wants but can't get.  Unlucky cat!
