File:Drawing of man dressed in jacket, hat and plaid pants leaning on shovel with one hand, other hand raised to face

Jack I: Blizzard of Feb. 20, 1979 - Rogers is about to struggle fourth or fifth in order to repair damage or restore dignity to walks that were done sparingly or not at all by black teen-agers who collected and then beat it and didn't do a good job. Jeff would have done it, but he has went to Jamaica with money received from sale of his stero [sic] equipment, leaving me to take care of cat, named "Primo" - which I didunt do a good job - let him out last night and he made good his escape - not back by 7:52 PM as I can testify. If he's not back by tomorrow, guess he has gone for good - we've had him a good three years and I for one will miss him - most of [sic] got lost in a drift - the snow drifted in spots.

Hope all is well on the Moberly front - you didn't get all this snow did you?
Primo was a good cat - we just had him spaded - all he does now is lay around and eat - a black Persian, if you see him send him home.

Yours, Jack
