P.O. Box 13, Philadelphia THE RITTENHOUSE CHESTNUT STREET AT TWENTY-SECOND PHILADELPHIA, PA.
April 6. Dear Sherwood The money finally gave out so I got a job with N. W. Ayer agency of this town. I am going ahead with my writing–Lois will join me in July, when her school year is over. I am wondering if you are still in New Orleans or whether you have removed to Virginia. George told me your MSS of your new book was saved from the fire and I am glad. Of this is the New Testament I will call it perhaps the best of all. I hope it comes out soon. Do come and see us when you are here, if ever. We'd be glad to put you up–Lois says if she doesn't see you again she will think you've become a mythological character.
