you can now appreciate my feelings when I went down on to our old Prairie farm & you never could before. You always felt as though I ought not to have felt so & I always told you I couldn't help it to save my life - Although I know & felt all this time that it was such a relief to you. I think if I had not been in a "family way" I should have felt very differently. You know our living was entirely different & everything else was all so different that It took a pretty strong hold upon me, although I tried my best to make the best of it & was not half as wicked over it as I might have been.
