11 Feb 79 Mr. Conroy, Several months ago, I read a book review by you in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in which you mentioned that the book was regarded as one of the ten best mystery stories. Lately, I have become a mystery fan but am not very knowledgeable about which writers and which of their books are rated as high quality. Initially I wrote to the newspaper for a list of those ten books, and they suggested that I write to you.
