Two good rains last week to wet the ground thouroughly, but not washing rains, which we dread on our fine easily floated soil. Tell Frank we have 36 acres in all planted in corn-about. the last planted the 28th & 29th of May. All but the last named have been worked once and a part twice. This afternoon preparing to plant late potatoes. Our early potatoes will be ready to begin on for the table now in a week or two. Quite late this year. Hope Frank will write when he feels like it. I know he hates to write as badly as I do when the fit is not on him.
