Two days of rain. John Emerson is down here with his wife Nita. Nita came first and stayed at the hotel. In our unclear small quarters we could never have taken care of her. So many trunks, dresses, unclear, cosmetics. She is really a unclear unclear strange? little creature terrible in love with John who is not in love with her. Always she courts? him, cares really for no one else. Her one desire is that he should not be bored?. That unclear unclear absorb? him.

He is a strange man, very unclear and alert, living only in action?. In every way he is practical and straight but there is a world into which he never penetrates?.

It is a difficult vague world. You know it as do I. He unclear much and unclear something.
