    Thot you would write re that errant SOB, Dos Passos?  They underlined: all escape to some leisurely camp in the hinterlands!  I recall underlined:  Floyd Dell - his wife a librarian in Washington.  got him to scribble his name in underlined: MOONCALF - was sick to my tummy when Dell feebly explained to me he wasn't no radical anymore -underlined: those thoughts "were all in the past" - a doddering old idiot like Passos - conforming to the "Great American Brain Wash" as ordained by the great White Father in White House and Holy Ghost Nixon - why don't underlined:  YOU go to Cape Girardeau and collaborate with HH Lewis on the Great Exposure of American Intellectualism?
