Dear Jack.

I was certainly sorry to miss adding my dulcet voice to your "Happy Birthday." Somehow there seems to be interference whenever I am invited to one of your special gatherings. Next time I am really going to be SORE!

Helen tells me "you librarian" should go to the {devine} library and see Miss Nancy Scott. There is a likely possibility for a summer job on the campus. Helen is in the periodical room and if he goes, he should stop in and say hello to her.
