Max has been very thoughtful + gentle etc. since you left and we are getting on nicely. Guess your parting words did them both good. Doc asked me yesterday if I didn't want the washwoman back. Told him no, not if I could do the work myself. Hope you will have a lovely time at Dart's. If it is very nice you hadn't better stay longer than a week.
