I am enclosing Helen's letter. It seems she is going to have a baby after all. I hope everything will be all right with her. I wonder if her father knows about it. I wish you could come here for a few days. Nellie was much disappointed because you didn't come with us. Dr. Zeh expected to come a week from today and spend Sunday. Then we all go home Sunday night. Perhaps you could come then or some other time. Looking after the chickens is quite pleasant work. They are very tame and easy to manage. We are going over to Wolf Lake tomorrow and go swimming. Wish you were going too. I feel very rich with my fine new bathing suit. Have you been swimming lately? The weather has been very pleasant so far, neither too hot nor too cold. Max is getting very sunburned. Sorry puss-cat was on such poor behavior in our absence. Max scoffed muchly at his remembering us. I'm sure you would like it very much here. Don't you think you could come for a few days? Got 34 eggs yesterday. It is great fun to gather then. Lots of love, Katharine
