Max has been too busy to see about a pup. Don't know whether we will have one or not. Mrs. Wilson invited me up to lunch yesterday to meet her sister-in-law and a young married lady who has a baby about the age of Mrs. Wilson's. (The sister-in-law is married too, but her baby died about two years ago. It was born at 7 months and should have been circumcised but the Dr. was afraid to do it because the baby was so tiny. When he finally did, it was too late and the baby died from absorbing into its system the urine which should have passed off.) The two women are pleasant enough but have no interest or thought for affairs outside their daily life, which seems to be the case with many women.
