5 world will feel the need to express it. There will be more and more of this expression in America. It is not here yet, so I can't tell you it is art or anything. It will have to prove itself. Has an artist really no ethical viewpoint? I can't believe it - I have never read one, except some of the poets - who didn't have some sound or rotten ethics. Why not face this honestly and purify and clean up one's ideas of man in the mass? Is it such a trivial thing? Is it so much less than art? Is a free society of artists and lovers and thinkers and athletes not a permanent part of every real artist's dreams? Why scorn the technique through which this art dream must be expressed? Does the musician scorn the catgut and horsehair and wood of the violin?
