 Dear Sherwood & Eleanor - Ripshin, the hills, singing creek & winding roads, not to mention quietness peace - it was

another high spot in my life and I know such a feeling will grow & grow with time. I'm back to responsibilities, we arrived in Paoli at 4P.M. Thursday. I wanted to get to Kedgeron that evening to see "Winesburg" but I had enough & crawled into my big waiting bed at - crossed out on Ripshin schedule.

Bravermann was an excellent companion he keeps me so god dam mad all the time I forget myself & the discomforts

of a long drive, in fact I felt a little lost when he passed out into sleep the last 100 miles. I gave him the map at Marion & said we take #11 to Hagerstown except for that short cut
