EDWARD DAVISON DIRECTOR Dear Sherwood: Your note gave us a great deal of
pleasure. I have been meaning to write ever since you left. But the let-down after everyone had gone was tremendous and we have so many arrears of sleep to make up that all letters were neglected. Boulder is feeling the first hint of Fall now. I am reading & gardening & trying to write and wishing to God I had a job further East.
