Dear Sherwood You probably have my telegram by now saying I'm not coming. Yesterday when I talked with {Leety} I thought I would come and was so excited. The night before I had been terribly blue and the postal from {Letty} saying you wanted me down there seemed like an answer to prayer. But today I realize I won't come. I would have to give up my job as they cannot get on without someone for so long a time.
