Dear Sherwood: It was good to get your letter. Somehow I got the idea you had gone to Russia. I hope to God [[Romain Rollands?] efforts accomplish something. It is amazing with the last war fresh in our minds that we should still head for a new one. It is a hard thing tho to decide.
