We had a series of lectures at the music school too. One was on Mythology and Epic Poetry, Egyptian Greek, Roman (slight) Provencal, and Medieval, and I had my first dose of hour people preserve their mental conceptions or brain children in the form of a story. Also the history of music included excellent psychologic studies of composers. Not like Freud on Leonardo da Vinci, yet valuable. Incideutally Romaive Rolloud's slight study of Beethoven is illuminating and valuable. Apparently Beethoven had two outstanding traits labelled in Psycho-Analysis. One was a search for an impossibly ideal woman, the other, in spite of his self-assurance in matters of art, was an inferiority complex; due, I almost seem to see, to sensitive on the subject of sex expression.

I intended this letter as a recording of my observations of the sex life of those boys at this comp who were close to me, but I have rambled far and wide.
