My dear dear Sarah

  I have just been reading your very interesting letter, and could you have heard the exclamations of surprise, and enthusastic joy, which continually broke from my overflowing heart, you would have been amused. Sarah sitting up, Sarah sitting in the reading room, Sarah able to raise herself up, how astonishing. I am really so much delighted that I can hardly find words to express my emotions. I arose from the perusal of the letter, collect for my pen and paper, and here you have the answer which my feelings would not suffer unto delay. My dear girl how thankful should you be how good the lord has been to you. I hope and believe you realise it. 
  I had almost given up hearing from you and sat thinking what were the probable reasons why my dear Sarah did not write to me. longing to hear from the place where I spent so many pleasant weeks, when Husband came in with
