No 13. Peoria St, Chicago Monday Morning Feb 27th / 65 Dear Cousin Sarah

I don't think you have any idea how often I visit you. I see you all and hear you talk, but you make no response when I put in a word. I'm trying to be a patient patient and do as my Doctor bids me and he condemns me to sit idle - utterly idle - a good share of each day - an hour or more after each meal - so what can I do but shut my eyes and build 'air castles' or take fancy flights just where I choose to go. Imagination is a blessed thing. I think so, though mine was in disgrace when I was a child. It was unruly then and as often frightened as amused me, but now it is kind. Yesterday in the morning I could not read, and I was quite alone (the family were in church) so i lay quite still apparantly though really I took a wonderful journey all around
