a dreadful heart-attack, on a heart machine a week & three weeks in hospital, never mind, still alive to tell the tale, but have to go along careful.

What are you both doing? trust everything is well with you & yours. We had the hottest summer here this year that I have ever known. 70º, 80º and 90º day after day for quite twelve weeks almost killed me, as at any time don't care for it, too hot. Almost lost everything in the garden. things just getting back to normal after one or two days of rain, lawn grass just needs cutting for first time in weeks.

It's not too warm today, (Sept. 30th) & it won't be long before winter gets here. Electric & gas is so dear. all the talk about North-Sea gas going to be cheaper, we have had it since last Nov. & it has just got dearer & dearer. £4 - 50p a qt. standing charge before ever you pay gas bill. I don't worry because that don't help matters, & as I'm almost 70 yrs, it's not much good.

 Best Wishes to you both.
