Conroy DATE p. 2 in Chicago. Lake Forrest could have gotten more books from either Raymor or Bebe & Taylor. Sometimes I think booksellers are in the business of harassing authors and publishers by not selling their books. Thank the good lord for people like Betty Campbell & the Old Town School.

   We have sent Curt a number of checks which were not delivered or returned including Algren's.  I trust he will track these people down.   I will send you a check for the balance due on the advance & the extra books you request.  I will also send review copies to Weinberg & Griffiths in Australia.   Bonosky received a copy - but I'm afraid the "workers" bookstores aint what they used to be.
