I thought you might be interested in seeing these reviews of Algren's latest

masterpiece. Saw Mitch Siporin for a few hours last week while he was visiting his parents. He is teaching painting at Brandeis, as you probably know. We remenesced [sic] about the Thirties and had a nice time having a few drinks and talking. He asked me about you. I understand that Sam Ross is in town, too. someone saw him.
