    It was swell to hear from you.   To hell with Light.  He has never bothered to try to see me.
    It was awfully kind of you to invite me to this brawl.  Fact is, it is the professor boy friend's birthday (remember the one I had to go and rescue?) and arrangements including an inscribed cake have already been made.  I'm afraid it will be a familyish occasion what with his son and the girl friend of the son also being present.  I will have to beg off on your invitation.
