      I liked the woman with female complaint, & the vulgar folk-sayings, & the girl who liked poetry, & the female complainant's husband.  (And that your book holds up like this after 20 years.)
      Going to see Teahouse of the August Moon soon, & Ondine the next night.  I didn't mind The Confidental [sic] Clerk at all, & don't know why they have to expect so much.  "Mademoiselle Colombe" was exquisite.  What rigid-minded dopes they are in this country to turn thumbs down on things like that.   That Moravia book in paperbound, "The Conformist," is good.  I think 
      Not another peep out of the Wolves.  I think I'll write an urgent request because Louis Armstrong is at  place called Basin Street, near me, & I'd love to go with them.  I saw him once in a vaudeville house in Cleveland & he left an unmistakable impression just to look at, not to mention "I'll be Glad when you're Daid."
   So, why not come to this merry town instead of Mexico where everybody gets dysentery.  Some of us found a divine Greek restaurant.  The most superb stuffed vine leaves of my experience.
