2/ Around Cleveland & Akron there really was fine publicity for the book, including Emerson's story. And some people are actively having the book bound in hard covers and being charged $4.25 for it. I havent had a real report yet but the advance orders were around 100 books.

  Here there are 5 books each in 4 place, including 2 Village stores.  I think I'll call Henrietta just to ask her to inquire for it.  Maybe none have been actually sold except to 1 or 2 of my scouts!
   The 3-penny opera was sure fun.  (I skip an awful lot of things these days because I'm lazy and you can get some good TV here.)  It was enjoyable seeing you both and if I may say so, seeing what a good sport and full of the joy of life Gladys is.  I learned from experience that it isnt so
