June-11-60 Dear Jack & All,

A Hasty note to say we will be out of town from 12-16-. Mother does not live with me but next door.

She is recouperating from a serious operation done on June 13- She is doing fine but at 83 it takes a while to get one's strength back. However Dr. says she is doing fine. - Had a piece of the large vein in abdomen removed & replaced by a plastic tube. On the table 4 hrs. -

Please plan to come & have dinner with us if you can on the 23 or 24.  Those are my days off.
