But when we look to Ct. [Christ]; him who was to come; we may see his likeness rising into view- Ct. Jesus- had no Father according to the flesh. but was formed immediately by the hand of God. As to his divine nature he had no Mother, & in those senses, like Adam, was without Father or Mother- Cts [Christs] body, & human soul were formed in a miraculous & supernatural a manner, as Adams; & at the very moment of their formation, they were taken into personal union, with the son of God, the 2d person in the trinity, so that in strict propecty?, that Holy thing wh. was born of the Virgin was called the Son of God.
