He showed, that he had, not only power over nature to change its stated course, but power to change the soul, & give it a frame suited to its original form & Maker, & hence possessed of salvation- Now, if any upon a strict enquiry will undertake to deny this fact, the effect of Christ's doctrines- they are not to be reasoned with- they have sunk too deep in depravity to allow the truth of simple demonstration, & hence have no power to be convinced rationally of any thing-
