I am now finishing off a dramatic novel, a "serio-comic" to use the old British jargon, dealing with the rise of pictures to pre-eminence in American life. The movie, the comic strip, the animated cartoon. . . til cartoon characters are far more real to the voters underlined: than the Republican candidates for the Presidency! My wife Lena Fern Edson works in K.C. Mo. My daughter Helen underlined: Poe Edson teaches school in Kansas City Kansas. She is 39 years old She is descended from The Edgar (Allen) Poe family, thru her mother. Through me she is descended from the Mayflower Pilgrims, double underline: John Alden and double underline: Priscilla (Molines)
