  Many thanks for remembering me with the Slappy Hooper piece.  I am the more pleased to have it since I am just starting a course in American Folklore, for the first time, and am launching it with a discussion of American demigods.   I don't have your new book as yet, but it is on my list and I intend to get it right away.  The Fast Sooner Hound is on my shelves.
