Constance Webb's "Richard Wright: The Biography of a Major Figure in American Literature." is reviewed by Hoyt W. Fuller, managing editor of Negro Digest. Although he agrees with the author's basic premise and calls her book a valuable record of Wright's life, Fuller wonders what some of the Negro writers mentioned in the book would have thought of Miss Webb's material.
