Dear Jerry -

 There are other things I want to do first but some day I would like to come and live

down here for a year or two. You and Lucile may want to do that later - also. The nigres thing came back strong. It wants staying with though. We saw some things here again that are illuminating but I will talk to you about them rather than write.

 I shall not stay long - will leave here by the end of the week - I think.  The trip down set me up

and I am working but I am not too happy. For one thing I want Elizabeth with me. I'm most completely in love with her and she gives me something I miss horrible when I'm away.

 I'm working on a most subtile story, full of shades and layers.
 The people here, I played about with last year do not interest me much now. They are all

messed up, as people seem to be everywhere pretty much and there is damned little going toward anything but
