  Am Train bound North from  Chicago to Ephraim Ohio.

 Got your good letter from the jumping off place. It was hell to be in New York and you two gone -

the town was empty. "To hell with it" I said and got out. Went up into Connecticut for a few days and then out west for Chicago. Now I am going North to ?

 You and Lucile were the two people we next wanted down there in Alabama. After I got down
