My dear Dr. Taylor, If your unclear call is a call of the Spirit to the spirit I have working to Day: no one has. Perhaps I haven't anyhow. But I am going to be a little presuming for Hartford's sake. If it be a call of spiritual feebleness & destitution to spiritual fullness & strength, from weakness to strong manhood, there is nothing to be said but Godspeed. But I know the west fairly well from having lived in it & having close relations with it ever since. and so I imagine the matter admits of review & argument.
