to my lot from association with that wonderful group of settlement workers of which you were an important member cannot be measured. I feel immensely grateful to you & the rest of them. I know that you miss the others immensely. The chief drawback to long life is the loss of old friends, as I know from experience altho' I am only 80. I am fortunate, however, in being in good trim physically & fairly good mentally! I won't venture to say the same of my mental calibre! Mrs. Glenn is also very well except that she is somewhat crippled by arthritis. She wishes to share in sending good wishes & very affectionate greetings to you.
Yours always John M. Glenn
