Social Work has no higher quest for the solution of its problems and the fulfilment [sic] of its purposes than
the presentation of friendships across racial, ^ economic and national lines on its local and country-wide fields. The call of the World Alliance for International Friendship through the churches to its Sixteenth Good Will Congress, held at Chicago Nov 10-12 ^ therefore was addressed to Social Workers as well as to church workers of all religious fellowships. The response in attendance from all parts of the country was notable for the widely representative personnel and for the fact of the preponderance of men, and of those from the middle and younger ages of manhood and womanhood.
