notes written on letter Future reference for possible Redon Show in Fall Redon

C.W. KRAUSHAAR ART GALLERIES 680 FIFTH AVENUE NEW YORK ESTABISHED 1885

April 9, 1927

Mss Alice Roullier 410 South Michigan Avenue Chicago Illinois

Dear Miss Roullier: I think there may be trouble in arranging for the Redon exhibition for the date of April 28th at the Arts Club. One of my customers who owns three Redon is out of town at present, and will not be back for several days. If I could borrow these I could help you out. I also find that Mrs. J. Montgomery Sears of 12 Arlington St., Boston, is going to Europe and that may make further difficulties. However, I am writing her by today's mail. The Cleveland Museum has a pastel and a painting. Another of the fine Redons that I have had is owned in Canada. If you could possible arrange to put the exhibition off until the Fall, I am sure I could do much better. However, I will write you as soon as I hear from my customer in New York and from Mrs. Sears.

With best wishes from Antoinette and myself, I am Sincerely yours

handwritten at bottom S.S. Durand Ruel have two. I spoke to Mr. Holsten of that firm but he said they could not send them out as they had prospective buyer for them. unclear
