Dear Miss Roullier., Thanks for your letter o/November nineteenth. I have just seen the chardin exhibition. It is a beauty. That man certainly knew how to caress with paint-- as regards my show for Chicago would it not be possible to have it a bit earlier? Say opening about March first? You see my New York show will close about February tenth, and to wait until March 15th would make a very bad lapse--Besides early in March, I expect to be in a position to get off for a week or two, to come on with the show, this might not be possible at a later date. Will you think it over
